POKERHERO works without signing up, and your data stays on your phone by default. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks forever, not a subscription, and one account works in both the app and the web app, so you only buy once. How do I get started with POKERHERO?
What is POKERHERO?
POKERHERO is a poker calculator, bankroll tracker and trainer for Texas Hold'em players, in one app: get equity and EV, log every session, check ICM and Nash push/fold charts, drill preflop and postflop decisions, and talk to the Voice Assistant. It is a record-keeping and strategy tool: there are no games to play and no money transactions in the app.
Do I need to sign up or sign in?
No. Open the app or the web app and every feature is available, with your data stored only on your phone by default. You only sign in when you want to switch phones or sync across devices: Apple or Google in the app, Google on the web.
Which devices does it run on? Is there an Android app?
The app is a free download on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon Mac. It needs iOS 15, iPadOS 15 or macOS 12 or later and is about 26.7 MB. There is no native Android app; on Android phones and computers, open the web app at pokerhero.cc in your browser. It has the same features, needs no install and can be added to your home screen.
Which languages are supported? What if the text is too small?
The app supports 12 languages: Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Thai, Vietnamese. The "A" button at the top right scales the whole app up to 2×, and the setting is remembered; there are also 4 color themes to choose from. Language, color themes and text size are free for everyone, Free or Pro.
Data & privacy
Where is my data stored?
Where is my data? Will I lose it when I change phones?
Your data stays on your phone by default and does not leave the device. To switch phones or use several devices, sign in with Apple or Google to turn on cloud sync, then sign in to the same account on the new phone to get it back. You can also back up yourself with Pro's JSON export. If you delete the app without signing in, the local data is deleted too and we cannot recover it.
Does POKERHERO show ads or track me?
No. The app has no ads, no advertising or marketing SDKs and no third-party analytics, and it does not track what you tap. It has no access to your contacts, photos or location, and we never sell your data. The microphone is only on after you tap the voice button; it never listens in the background.
Where does your data live in each case?

Pro & payment
How much is Pro, and how do I restore it?
Is Pro a subscription? How much does it cost?
No, it is not a subscription. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks forever, with no monthly fee. The base price is US$19.99; it is NT$690 in Taiwan, ¥3,000 in Japan and HK$148 in Hong Kong, and other regions follow the price shown on your App Store storefront. The app itself is free, and the free version already covers equity, tracking and daily drills.
What are the free limits, and what does Pro add?
The free version includes 10 sessions, 5 hand reviews, 10 quiz questions a day, equity against 1 opponent and tournaments within 14 days. Pro removes these limits and adds ICM, Nash charts, full preflop ranges, the postflop reference, advanced stats and JSON export. Language, color themes and text size are free for everyone.
I bought Pro and changed phones. How do I get it back?
Sign in with the same Apple ID on the new phone, open the upgrade screen in the app and tap "Restore purchase"; Pro unlocks without paying again. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and if you signed in to a POKERHERO account, signing in to that same account unlocks it too.
Do I have to buy Pro separately for the app and the web?
No. Pro is tied to your account, so signing in to the same account in the app and on the web app at pokerhero.cc unlocks it in both. One purchase per account, never charged twice. The web app has the same features as the app and runs in the browser on Android phones and computers.
How do I ask for a refund?
Pro bought on the App Store is paid through Apple, and we never see or store your payment details. Refunds follow Apple's refund policy: sign in with the Apple ID you used for the purchase at Apple's Report a Problem site, reportaproblem.apple.com, and send your request there.

How do the Voice Assistant and tournament schedule work?
How does the Voice Assistant work? Are my recordings kept?
Tap the voice button and talk: say a hand to get the equity, say a result to log a session, or ask what a poker term means. When it understands a session it shows a confirmation card before adding the record. It asks for your consent before first use, the microphone is only on while you use the voice button, and audio is turned into text and then discarded, never stored.
Can I play poker or move money in this app?
No. POKERHERO is a record-keeping and strategy tool: there are no games to play and no money transactions in the app. The tracker only lets you write down your own buy-ins, cash-outs and hours for each session, so you can see your ROI, hourly rate and profit graph and review how you played.
What if a tournament date is wrong?
The tournament schedule is compiled from public organizer information and updated daily, and you can filter it by region and city, but the organizer's announcement always has the final word on dates and venues. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] or report it in the app and we will correct it.

How do I delete my account or contact you?
How do I delete my account and cloud data?
Sign in, tap the account icon at the top right and choose "Delete account". Your account, sign-in details and cloud data are erased immediately and cannot be recovered, and backup copies are purged within 30 days. Data on this device stays until you clear it. You can also email [email protected] to request deletion, and we will confirm once it is done.
How do I report a problem or send a suggestion?
Email [email protected]; we usually reply within 2 business days. You can also open the account menu in the app and choose "Feedback & Suggestions", or tap "Report a problem" in the footer. Including a screenshot and the steps that led to the problem helps us find the cause faster.
New phone
Switching phones: how do I bring my data and Pro along?
Sign in to sync on the old phone, then sign in to the same account on the new one, and your sessions, hand reviews, notes and settings come back. Pro is tied to your account and Apple ID, so the same sign-in unlocks it without buying again. The whole thing takes about two minutes.
